We are both US citizens but now reside in
the UK. We visit Vegas at least 4 times a year to visit family.
We always see as many shows as we can during our stay. This time we
went to Mamma Mia, you're Legends Show, and we went to see Sheena
Easton.
We also attended the afternoon (marathon) show at The Imperial Palace
put on by Elyse. May 31st.
Our point of writing to you both:
We so enjoyed the show Mamma Mia, we had forgotten how many excellent
songs Abba made. But it was at the very end of "Elyse's" show that we
heard how the songs should be sung. We thought the two girls from I
believe Sweden who performed were marvelous. Well worth waiting to
see.
Great voices, big stage presence, and sounded just like Abba.
We also really enjoyed the legends show, but we come away from Vegas
with those two girls from Abba in our minds.
Are they going to be in the "Legends" Show at The Imperial Palace? If
not why?
We will never see Abba perform, but you can re-create it with those
girls?
This is the first time we have ever written to complain or
congratulate before, but we honestly thought those two girls were
something really special.
We just wanted to give you our feed back. And by the way loads of
folks were talking about them after the show in the foyer.
Thank you for putting on a great but long afternoon show, we also
thought Elvis at the "Legends" show was amazing.

Dear Elyse and Howard!
OK. I can now admit that I waited too long to go to my first
convention. I don't want to make that same mistake by waiting too long
to write my letter of thanks! I guess it took me this long to do so,
as I am still basking in the "after glow" of the entire experience. I
have been doing Judy Garland for a long time, and today would have
been her 83rd birthday. I thought it was appropriate to give thanks
for the gift I have received in being able to bring a taste of her
talent and vibrancy on stage to a whole new audience via your
Convention. I was totally overwhelmed by your event, and the beauty,
grace and ease of you yourself. To put it plainly...it was like one
big love fest. I have never experienced so much warmth, laughter and
light from so many people. There were no problems!!!! There just
aren't enough words to commend you on how smoothly every event was
run. Your husband Howard is a credit to our creative community and his
mere presence was an inspiration. Dan Gore is a complete pro and
pulled off the seemingly impossible by whipping together a show that
was fast and fabulous, creating an extravaganza from what might have
been utter chaos in lesser hands. Your super MC's Richard Halpern and
Peter Banks are both treasures on and off the stage. My "reunion" with
John Stuart was sweet and sincere, leaving me with the feeling that 12
years was dissolved into 12 seconds. He was a gracious, and benevolent
host sharing his time, wisdom and the best damned ribs I ever had at
his wonderful Legends Ranch! Your staff, friends and family made us
all feel welcomed, and very, very special. I adored everyone, and
every moment, and managed to create cherished memories that will live
vividly in the filing cabinet of my mind forever. I kiss the hem of
your gown!

Hi Elyse,

once again the best Convention for the Celebrity Impersonator Trade.
For me as a Manager, it is always great to see the best in the
business doing there thing on the Legends Stage. For Samira (Truly
Tina) it is a great opportunity for her to show the world her talent
and meet like professionals from all over the world, trade stories and
create bonds that are life long.
You put your heart and soul into the show and I for one will endeavor

Thank you for the best afternoon entertainment and value for money we
have ever had. Four hours of non stop entertainment for just over $10!
I refer to Tuesday May 31st At The Imperial Palace Hotel Look a likes
show in the afternoon. We have just returned home and we are still
talking about all the stars we saw. We did really like Abbott &
Costello, a great sketch. But a special mention must go to the girls
from Abba. Where can we see the full show? We had forgotten what great
songs Abba had. Do that duo sell CD's?
We also thought that Judy Garland was very special.

The past two years I was unable to attend the CIC because of
booking conflicts. This year I made sure we didn't book anything
during CIC dates. I now realize that even an act that is booked on a
regular basis can get a lot
out of the Convention and should being making time to attend.

Convention such a success. I hope it has also been financially
successful.

Elyse you out did yourself.
This was the best of all the entire conventions.
I hope Howard gets better, I admire him a lot.
I had several conversations with agents that would like to go
exclusive and promise 35 percent more income in the first year.
My thoughts on that is if he or she can increase my business that much
why doesn't he or she promote my talent anyway he or she will still
make the commissions.

I know you were bragging about the stage, I've been on a lot of
stages, but that stage did impress me very much. And I thought a stage
was just a stage!
Well, here is something for you to brag about! I got home at about
7:45, by the time I got home I already got a phone call message with a
corporate booking for July from someone that was at the CIC. Is this a
record? If it is.... go ahead and brag about it! I don't get excited
about many things any more, however, this is a big exception and I
wonder what's next?

Your event broke attendance records and set a new standard for
showcases. Everything from the press, to the level of the
performers, the foreign performers and the overwhelming public
interest. How dare Bea skip over this event to just announce an
extension to vote for the Cloney.

Happened to be in Vegas during the convention. Thanks so much
for opening the Talent Showcase to the public. We experienced an
afternoon of more entertainment than anyone could ever done. We had no
idea that there were so many talented celebrity impersonators...and
all one stage...in one afternoon....you should be proud of what you
offer these people to showcase...best of luck in your future
conventions...everyone said how much they love you for doing this...
